Hi, I am Eric
I create compelling visual solutions that build brand identity, drive engagement, and deliver measurable results across digital and print design, social media, event branding, and UX/UI. I thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and am passionate about crafting innovative, audience-focused designs that elevate brands across every platform.
What does a typical design day look like?
I wake up early so I can collect my thoughts before powering up my computer and getting into the day’s work. No two design days are the same, but they almost always start with a good cup of coffee, or tea. A notepad or post it note, and a desire to do my best.
Where do I go to get inspired for design?
I find inspiration everywhere. Something I scroll past on social media, a sign on the road, or even a bumper sticker that sparks a color idea. At work, it might come from Behance or just a quick web search.
A challenge in design?
Challenges can vary depending on the project I am working on. I find design work that is dependent on gathering data (excel or similar) a bit like solving a puzzle. It itself becomes the complexity of a UX design project. —I enjoy being challenged as I grow with them.
What I do
As a graphic designer, I draw on a wide range of methods, techniques, and materials to craft and reproduce visual products, shaping layouts for both technical and non-technical projects while communicating each brand’s essence with clarity and impact
About Me
I’ve been a graphic designer since 2012, starting with a coffee-shop branding project that sparked my love for design. That passion has only grown as I continue to learn and refine my craft. Along the way, I’ve earned recognitions including the OCCA Logo Design Award, a top-finalist spot in the Coeur d’Alene Makeover, and the AAF Preflight Design award. I’ve also had the privilege of collaborating on historic national events and leading a talented team of designers.
Why Graphic Design?
Ten years ago this was an easy question, now as new tools and AI reshape creativity, I have to say because I love to create. Now I treat technology as an assistant, not a replacement—opening space for enhancing design, quick experiments and stronger deliverables.. My focus is to stay curious, read changing needs, and craft work that remains timeless, unmistakably human, and keep my mind sharp and ready for moments when only unprompted imagination is needed.
